Responsibilities

Candidate will work as the Deputy Project Manager for the Legacy Systems Replacement Project (LSRP). Candidate will work closely with the LSRP Project Manager and the Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) to perform complex to advanced project and contract management work.

This includes leading and coordinating cross-functional workstreams across the entire project lifecycle—from facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, through managing system integrations and data migration, to overseeing comprehensive testing cycles and software rollout. Additionally, the candidate will drive the development of project reports and executive dashboards to ensure transparency, while assisting with contractor deliverables and change requests, invoicing, budget tracking, and maintenance and operations (M&O).

Experience leading and orchestrating comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles for large-scale enterprise IT rollouts, including establishing testing entry/exit gate criteria, managing business unit validation schedules, and tracking defect burn-

Experience designing, scheduling, and orchestrating comprehensive end-user training strategies for enterprise-wide software rollouts, including utilizing the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) methodology to upskill internal business units and regional division staff

Experience working with the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and Data Center Services (DCS), specifically including the implementation of cloud-based solutions.
