Responsibilities

The Information Technology Division requests a short term staff augmentation to support critical artificial intelligence initiatives currently underway at the client. The requested AI/ML Engineer will supplement existing staff capacity and provide specialized expertise necessary to meet accelerated delivery timelines for multiple enterprise level priorities.

 

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Client is simultaneously advancing four major objectives:

Implementing an enterprise search solution to improve information retrieval across client's systems.

Deploying the AI inventory and monitoring system (Darwin).

Developing and operationalizing various AI agents to improve internal efficiency and public‑facing services.

Establishing and enforcing AI governance to ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and statewide technology policies.

 

**Location of job: Hybrid. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX**
