Overview

Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (MIRP) to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

Perform highly advanced project management work initiating and conducting enterprise level projects. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Technology Project Management, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or another relevant field.

Performs advanced project and contract management work including detailed project planning, oversight, and tracking using accepted project management methodologies.

Responsible for fulfilling the terms of the project contract or specifications, and ensuring they are completed within budget, scope and on-time.

Monitors and manages project quality and cost to ensure that project deliverables are acceptable.

Experience in managing Major Information Resources projects ( MIRP)

Responsible for leading MIRP project through lifecycle from project initiation through completion.

Knowledge about DIR’s Texas Project Delivery Framework, templates and tools. Experience in following DIR’s QAT best practices.

Experience with QAT review processes

Provide regular status reports of MIRPs to QAT for monitoring purposes. Prepare QAT Annual/quarterly Reports

Maintaining and providing risk and issues log. Provide analysis and plans for resolving major issues as they come up.
