Responsibilities

**Location of job: Remote. Candidate must be local to Austin, TX**

 

We are seeking skilled and experienced coders, developers, and testers to join our team for the client's System Modernization Project. The ideal candidate should have a strong background creating custom solutions in Salesforce and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks. As a developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing standard Salesforce capabilities of our system by leveraging your expertise to create solutions that streamline processes and improve user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of our organization's systems.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  1. Salesforce Custom Development: Apply Salesforce experience to create custom Apex and Flow-based Salesforce solutions. Create and leverage external interfaces such as Mulesoft and various AWS components.
  2. JavaScript Development: Utilize in-depth understanding of JavaScript frameworks (especially LWC) to develop functionality for the System Modernization Project. Collaborate closely within the development team to implement robust and efficient solutions.
  3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive unit test cases to ensure adequate code coverage of the functionality, performance, and system security. Collaborate with the testing team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of the codebase, system architecture, and development processes. Provide regular reports on the progress, challenges, and outcomes of the development and testing activities.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration and communication within the project team, including developers, testers, and stakeholders. Actively participate in meetings, discussions, and code reviews to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.

Proven experience as a Coder and Tester with a focus on JavaScript development.

Experience and/or exposure with Salesforce integration and customization including Flow, LWC, SOQL, and a solid understanding of Salesforce Administration (i.e., governor limits, security, etc.).

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience working with agile sprint teams and in agile development life cycles a must.
