Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

Support Transportation Programs would be responsible for a wide range of critical functions to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives. Typical work would include overseeing project lifecycles across platforms such as TxDOTCONNECT and Engineering Desktop, managing vendor relationships, coordinating software development teams, and facilitating smooth operations support. Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, track progress against milestones, and proactively identify and resolve delivery risks. In addition, provide leadership in budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring teams stay aligned with performance goals and fiscal targets. The Program Manager would act as the central point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating consistent communication and collaboration across departments. By driving process improvements and standardizing workflows, they would enhance overall efficiency and accountability throughout Transportation Programs Support.

Skills/Experience

Experience in Information Technology

8+

Experience as an IT Consultant providing project and program management and IV&V services

8+

Experience in software development project management in state government

8+

Experience as Project Manager for a transportation organization.
