Job Description
The client has the need of a Software Development Project Manager to work remotely on a project. This contract position is for a software development Project Manager with extensive experience managing .NET projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering a .NET-based software project, ensuring that business objectives, quality standards, and deadlines are met. The role involves managing project scope, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise in .NET technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
The client has acquired a .NET software application from another state agency and requires the Project Manager to lead its implementation and customization. The Project Manager will evaluate the software, oversee its implementation, gather requirements from Community Affairs staff, and tailor the software to meet the client’s needs. The software customization will focus on workflow management/automation, creating a central repository for data and documents, generating reports, developing an internal user portal, and building an external user portal for uploading federal program documentation.
