A Texas state agency requires a SQL Database Administrator to assist with the migration and refresh of SQL server GIS databases from 2008 to 2012/2016.
Administers a Microsoft SQL Server versions 2008, 2012 and 2016 database systems
In-depth knowledge and hands on experience of database replication between multiple SQL Servers and remote sites
In-depth knowledge and hands on experience of backup and restoration procedures for Microsoft SQL database systems
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
Familiarity with Powershell scripting
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Administer Enterprise Geodatabases.
