We are currently seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Functional Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team.

    Responsibilities

    A Texas state agency requires the assistance of one Onboarding Analyst with recent, “hands-on” experience working in the following Oracle/PeopleSoft Module:  General Ledger.  The agency currently utilizes PeopleSoft version 9.2 for its Onboarding efforts.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversees and/or performs highly advanced consultative services and analytical work in support of CAPPS Onboarding.
    • Provides all end-user facing responsibilities in support of CAPPS Onboarding efforts in accordance with client established prototyping methodologies.
    • Evaluates business needs, analyzes processes and creates business cases for changes and process improvements.
    • Performs scoping followed by configuration and prototyping based on direct interaction with designated end users and in accordance with best practices.
    • Analyzes software fits/gaps and determines impact to business processes.
    • Develops and maintains functional design documents for required system enhancements and reports. Provides system expertise and functional support throughout the application development and application change processes, and agency deployment activities, including functional configuration set-ups and prototyping modules in a workshop setting.
    • Develops test scenarios and test scripts, executes test scripts and records results using automated test tools.
    • Validates all system test results.
    • Coordinates conversion activities.
    • Assists with training all designated end user personnel.
    • Participates in "go-live" cutover activities.
    • Provides end-user on-site support as assigned by client.
    • Performs all duties within project scope and on schedule according to project milestones, deliverables and due dates. Communicates complex concepts clearly, accurately, and effectively both verbal and in writing.
    • Works with CAPPS technical and functional resources effectively.
    • Provides functional expertise for one or more of the following
    • PeopleSoft HCM modules or PeopleSoft FSCM modules, in a highly customized complex environment: GL

     

    Preferred Skills:

    • Able to work independently in a team environment with onsite and remote teams. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of project management methodologies.
    • Knowledge of technical and functional attributes of PeopleSoft.
    • Possess problem solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.
    • Experience with SDLC methodology.
    • Experience in gathering business requirements for large projects.

    Experience with two (2) or more of the following PeopleSoft FSCM Modules:

    • FSCM 9.x General Ledger/Commitment Control
    • FSCM 9.x Accounts Payable;
    • FSCM 9.x Purchasing / eProcurement;
    • FSCM 9.x Asset Management;
    • FSCM 9.x AR/Billing;
    • FSCM 9.x Grants;
    • FSCM 9.x Project Costing;
    • FSCM 9.x CA;
    • FSCM 9.x Strategic Sourcing

    Two (2) years of experience working on an implementation project in a lead role related to PeopleSoft HCM or FSCM.
