    Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 25 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzes change requests and trouble tickets
    • Develops possible resolutions to these requests
    • Validates resolution and takes appropriate action
    • Communicates resolution to the end user and provides training if necessary on systems operation
    • Develops requirements documents supporting changes to the system when required
    • Works with development team on required changes
    • Performs testing of changes
    • Supports move of software into production
    • Creates required software documentation

    Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements definition, development, testing and implementation of software

    Analyzing reported software defects reported as trouble tickets or change requests and providing assessment of required training or changes to software.

    Creating test plans, test scripts, executing testing of software changes.

    Documenting system changes.
