    Responsibilities

    Responsible for assisting with project planning and the planning of the architecture for the migration from 10.2 to 10.6. This resource will need advanced experience with Esri systems, specifically ArcGIS, and hands on knowledge and experience with performing this type of version upgrade.  In addition, this resource must have the ability to examine our current utilization load and usage patterns in order to accurately design an architecture for the new components of 10.6 and accurately scope the server environment.

    • Review and understand existing application development policies and procedures
    • Review with business users and IT division staff requested application upgrade
    • Create Technical Specification Documents based on user and software requirements specifications
    • Facilitate system upgrade from out of support version to newest version
    • Participate in program code reviews
    • Develop test plans, scripts and test data
    • Conduct unit and system testing
    • Support user acceptance testing
    • Coordinate move of system changes into production
    • Complete system documentation
    • Perform required status reporting

    Experience in GIS application design, development, and implementation.

    Experience upgrading GIS from version 10.2 to version 10.6.

     

    Experience with architecting ArcGIS

     

     

     

    Experience with automating the installation of ArcMap in an enterprise environment, including developing tools for ArcMap

     

     

    Experience with MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL/Oracle for versioned enterprise geodatabases

     

     

    Experience with ArcGIS Pro

     

    Experience upgrading GIS from version 10.2 to version 10.6
