Overview

Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin based technology consulting firm providing information resource services to public sector clients across Texas.   Headquartered near the Texas State Capital, we work directly with large Texas state agencies and local governments, as well as systems integration companies.  We provide these organizations consultants for their large complex technology initiatives.  With over 20 clients, approximately 100 IT professionals, and a growing demand for services, our administrative support requirements are expanding.

 

We are seeking a Recruiter to supplement our current team of recruiters and business development professionals.  The recruiter will be involved in the identification of technology professionals who meet the technical requirements of roles being sought by our clients. 

 

The candidate will be provided the tools and training necessary to perform the role as a recruiter.  The candidate will be assigned a full-time business development professional who will work one on one with the recruiter to train them in operations of our firm and the techniques to become a successful recruiter.

 

The successful candidate must be reliable, a quick learner and take on responsibility for assigned tasks.   The recruiter will be expected to begin performing as a recruiter shortly after receiving corporate orientation.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 5 (flexible work hours are available.)

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have 3+ years prior recruiting, sourcing or a related human resource experience
  • Demonstrated stability in past employment – prefer prior engagements of 1 year or more
  • Ability to recruit and maintain a specified number of consultants
  • Strong work ethic motivated by compensation and results
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems
  • Prior experience with job boards, LinkedIn, social media, craigslist and other recruiting tools
  • Ability to understand established goals and put forth the necessary effort to achieve these goals
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a knack for organization
  • Must be reliable, timely and willing to put in hours needed to succeed



Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with preference in business or communications field
