Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 25 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to be a key resource on a technical services team.

The main function of the Project Coordinator is to support the Project Management group, project managers, as well as project teams. This would include assisting in task scheduling, setting-up meetings, assist with budget tracking, and provide status reporting and communication to executives and project team members. This position will also manage the quality review of projects nearing closure, and work with project managers to create audit-worthy projects before completion. This position will include the management of smaller projects, and their project lifecycle.



  • Assists with project plans, scheduling, identification and mitigation of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources.


  • Helps identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.


  • Coordinates meetings and, in some cases, responsible for meeting minutes and distribution.


  • Manages the review of project process and deliverables, for projects nearing closure.


  • Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.


  • Assists with the development of metrics to track program/project performance against schedule expectations and budget.


  • Creates, assists, and maintains the development of technical and project documentation.


  • Prepares program/project status reports, to keep management, business, and other stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.


  • Monitors project results against specifications.

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or in-process)
  • Bachelor’s degree (technical, business, MIS, financial)
